AjaxControlToolkit TabContainer Theme Gallery
I created a new theme for the AjaxControlToolkit's TabContainer control and I was going to write a post discussing how I did it. But as I was creating the post I realized that I have really written about all of the details before (see my TabContainer Archive page). So instead of repeating myself, I decided I would instead put together a post that catalogs the Tab themes I have created so far and pull of them together into a single demo site that showcases each of these themes. I plan on adding to the gallery as well as this post as new themes are added. If I like how it works I might create similar pages for some of my favorite ListView and GridView themes as well.

Matt,
Yet another excellent article! Thanks again!
(P.S. - You should still keep the idea of being a book author in your mind)
Cheers,

Hey Matt. I really like the gallery idea and thought Id give a shout out for the ListView and GridView galleries as well. Peace... -Dan
Oh man, this is awesome. I vote for putting up the Gridview gallery.
You are the real tabcontainer wizard :)
Thanks for sharing your knowledge!
Very nice! Ive had a lot of problems skinning the tab control. Youve done some nice work here.
Matt, you will be a good author.
How about a parent/child tab like at http://dev.communityserver.com
Thanks a lot.
Most tabstrip skin demos usually miss two things:
- disabled tabs
- tabs with images (image only or image + text)
Is it possible to add these tabs to your demo?
200k for a few tabs.
Matt, do you not find ms ajax and control toolkit really expensive down the wire? I have come across a few projects where they have used a few extenders on one page and the amount of resources required are really unacceptable.
I recently posted on microsofts forums about setting the header to allow for two lines for header text. I can get it to render with a "" tag using the header template. However, I think the height is constraining the ability to show two lines. I was wondering if you could find a way to allow the css to show two or more lines?

Matt,
You ever going to write an "about me" Page on your blog? GREAT STUFF!
I realise that this is an old post, but any chance of producing an example where the tabs are stacked vertically on the right hand side rather than along the top (ala OneNote)?
Thanks in advance...
Thanks so very much! This is an awesome resource. Write your book!
Hello
Matt Berseth,
If you give the license terms and condition details to use Matt 1.0.xxx. dll. Then it will be very helpful to me.
Thanks and Regards,
Prashanth Kumar G.
Nice work !
Actually I'm using some parts of your styles in order to improve aparience.
Now I'm having a big issue, I have a tabcontainer with lots of tabs and need a multi-row tabcontainer.
I wonder if you have a style for that ..
I love it!
But one problem - is it possible to use one style within another? It so how would I go about this?
Cheers.
